Our Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was a little sad at times, when we thought of Grandpa not being there with us physically, but we knew he was watching over us the whole time. Especially since we got a surprise present from him Christmas morning. He worked so hard to sell the farm before he died. Recently, the farm finally sold after years of legal work, and Mom found the check for her portion in the front door Christmas morning. We knew it came at that time for a reason. Dad wanted to give us one last Christmas present. Thank you Dad. We miss you so much.

Santa appeared at our annual progressive Christmas party with all of my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. Can you believe we still get together? We're so big now we have to go to the high school cafeteria. We have a great time.

We open one present on Christmas Eve.

Kelton and Kailee got slippers this year and Makell got PJs. Even though she was not about to sit still for the picture, you can still see her cute pajamas.



Kailee decided to adorn herself with a hat and our spare Christmas tree skirt. Yes, she can make anything look cute.

The girls got aprons that matched Mommy's. We are going to have a blast cooking in them! Despite the picture, Makell really does like the apron and really does like to cook! It's called, getting to bed late and getting up early!

I crack up every time I see this picture. Too little sleep, too much candy, and way too much lipstick! I think this is how we all are feeling about now!
