As Chad was coming home from work one day, he heard a rattling noise in the pasture in front of our house. Thank heavens his air-conditioning was broken so he had his window rolled down in his car! He looked over and saw a rattler just slipping into the grass. He shot it and now we are hoping there are no more! The scary thing is, the day before I had the kids out in that pasture, combing the ground looking for a bracelet the neighbor boy made for Makell and lost in there. Scary!
